A Statement from the Ohio Christian Alliance on the Mideast Crisis
A Statement from the Ohio Christian Alliance on the Mideast Crisis
The nation of Israel has taken steps to secure its national sovereignty and the protection of its people by neutralizing the military capabilities of the radical Islamic state of Iran that has repeatedly stated that its mission is the destruction of the State of Israel and its people. Intelligence reports indicated that the Iranian regime was near completion of weapons-grade plutonium to make a nuclear weapon. The great concern for all the nation - states in the Persian Gulf, including Israel, is that an Iranian Islamic radical state with a nuclear weapon would be a threat to untold millions.
The State of Israel has made its mantra clear. Never again will they be held defenseless in the face of hatred, tyranny, and evil that is intent on destroying the Jewish people.
America has long held the State of Israel in high esteem as an ally and friend. U.S. Presidents, since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, have been resolute that we will always support the State of Israel when its very existence is threatened.
President Trump has before him a major decision concerning the nuclear threat that the Iranian state presents to not only Israel, its neighbors in the Middle East, but also to the American people. Our prayer is for President Trump, our military command, and our service personnel. We stand with President Trump at this time of decision and offer him our full support in prayer. – OCA President Chris Long
